Derby Queens
A time honored tradition for our local race event, the Derby Queen is elected by the derby racers into a
coveted position of honor and respect. The Queen and her court reign over the proceedings of our local race.
The Queen is honored to wave the checkered flag for the championship races and assists with the presentation
of trophies and awards. She serves as our goodwill ambassador at other local events and participates in local parades.
